Sleep Blocks Support

Sleep Blocks is a bedtime check-in app. Set when you want to sleep and wake. Tap Go to Sleep at night and I'm Up in the morning. Each night you make both on time adds one block to your tower.

Common questions

What counts as on time? Go to Sleep within 30 minutes after your bedtime, and I'm Up within 30 minutes after your wake time. Going to bed or getting up earlier is fine.

Does the alarm ring if the app is closed? Yes. The wake-up alarm is an iPhone system alarm (AlarmKit), so it rings with the app closed and in Silent Mode. Allow alarms when the app asks. If you said no, go to Settings › Sleep Blocks and turn alarms on.

My weekends are different. Turn on "Different times each day" in Settings. Each day follows the evening the night starts, so a 1 AM bedtime on Friday night is set under Friday.

Does the app track my sleep? No. It records only the times you tap the two buttons. It does not use the microphone, motion sensors or the Health app, and it doesn't check whether you used your phone after tapping Go to Sleep.

What is a rest night? With Pro, you can mark up to 4 nights a month as rest nights, for travel or late shifts. They don't add a block and don't break your streak.

Do I need an account? No. Your times and nights are stored on your iPhone and copied to your own iCloud key-value storage.

Is Pro a subscription? No. Pro is a one-time purchase. Use "Restore Purchase" in Settings on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.

Requires iOS 26 or later.
